SERVICES

The type of services, number of services and date and location of services provided by LENA ARK Copenhagen Make artist and Hair stylist (Lena Ark) are agreed to by both parties as stated by in the agreed upon written quote provided by Lena Ark once a deposit for that quote has been received.

The Client must notify Lena Ark as soon as possible of any additional services required on the date. Lena Ark reserves the right to refuse the provision of services which are additional to those specified in the quote and not agreed to prior to the date of service.

BOOKING TIMES

Each service requires a certain length of time to be finished and is not to exceed the time limit due to client delays either during or prior to makeup application. All persons involved in appointments need to be available at the scheduled time of said appointment in order to not break the contract. All services for more than one person must be at the same location and consecutive in time.

PAYMENT

The person responsible for the entire balance of the payment is the person who has agreed to the Terms & Conditions. Payment of services is to be made via bank transfer a minimum of 5 business days prior to the service or in cash or with Mobile Pay in full on the day of service and prior to service commencement.

PRIVACY

Lena Ark  takes the Client’s privacy seriously and will not divulge or discuss any details regarding your booking or your personal details with anyone not directly connected with your booking. All details collected are for the sole purpose of providing the best possible service to the Client. Lena Ark will never knowingly give or sell your information to a third party.

EXTRA PEOPLE
If any additional people require styling on the day, but do not have a booking, this is not normally a problem and payment can be in cash at the time of the appointment prior to us starting the service. It is recommended to give Lena Ark notice if others in attendance want styling so arrangements can be made. Lena Ark recommends that numbers for styling are confirmed in advance to avoid potential disappointment where we may not be able to cater to extras.

​TRAVEL EXPENCES

Travel within a 10 km radius of Copenhagen City Hall will not be subject to any charges. The distance outside of this radius is charged at a rate of 6 DKK per km.

The client will cover any necessary travel expenses of the makeup artist as agreed at time of booking.

Charges will be applied for unsociable hours. Start times prior to 6.00 am will incur a 500 dkk charge.

HEALTH&SAFETY

Lena Ark is not, under any circumstances, responsible for any allergic reactions to products used. The onus is on the client to give advance notification to Lena Ark if you or any of your group/wedding party have particular hypersensitivity that you are aware of. Should you bring your own product that you are familiar with, then Lena Ark would be happy to use the product. I cannot make guarantees surrounding quality for product(s) you supply for me to use.​​

Children in attendance of the booking are to be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Children are not to be in the service area at any time unless they are having a service and are being supervised by a responsible adult. This is for their own safety; we use very hot styling tools, operate electrical equipment and have very heavy equipment which can tip if not used correctly. Lena Ark accepts no liability from any claims arising from any children’s injury while in the service area.

OTHER

In the event that the original scheduled artist(s) are not able to attend the appointment to provide hair and/or makeup services on the scheduled booking date, Lena Ark will make every attempt to replace the hair and/or makeup artist(s). However, if we are unsuccessful, the limit of liability is a full refund of all monies already paid for the hair and/or makeup for the affected date only.​

 

Clients acknowledge that Lena Ark may use any photographs or images taken for portfolio, website and any promotions.
